Basic Design
Competency Review Course

Duration: 5 days

This course covers the Basic design of Commercial Fire sprinkler systems, it covers the requirements of BS EN 12845 including Classifications, Head Spacing, Pre calculated pipework sizing, how to size the water supplies and also commisioning and maintenance.

The course is run through a partnership with BAFSA and is ideal if you are progressing onto your competence exams with the LPCB.

Intermediate Design
Competency Review Course

Duration: 2 days

This has been developed to design systems that are installed to allow extensions by fit-out contractors (commonly known as base build projects) and includes the design of high-rise sprinkler installations including the design of multi-stage pumps.

Full Hydraulic Calculation (FHC) Design Competency Refresher Course

Duration: 4 days

The FHC course covers the design of high hazard systems including the design of rack installation, ESFR systems, control mode sprinkler systems. The course also covers basic knowledge of hydraulic calculations for different situations.

The course is run through a partnership with BAFSA and is ideal if you are progressing onto your competence exams with the LPCB.

Inspection of Sprinkler Installation Course

Duration: 2 days

This covers the inspection and commissioning of fire sprinkler systems. It is ideally suited to consultants, project managers and maintenance engineers who wish to be able to carry out the full commissioning of systems prior to handover.
